Bat Cave ( Chamero Gufa ) Pokhara Kaski

Bat Cave (Chameri Gufa in Nepali language) is a famous cave located in Pokhara city of Nepal. The cave is the habitats of bats over cave’s wall and ceilings. The cave is made up of limestone and there is provision of torch lights and emergency lights with guides for the assistance for the viewing the cave. The cave is covered by the forest which also shows the place beautiful by its surrounding rich in greenery.

The cave is assumed to be adventurous and scary place with full of Bats as if it’s the small world of Bats. Inside the cave, visitors can find the exact experience of the cave. The entrance of the cave is normal but its exit is very narrow and a little bit of climbing is necessary. It is very fun hanging out to this cave with friends as the cave is exciting, fearful and one need courage to complete the whole cave round. Although visitors can visit the cave with the help of guide with some charge but it is most adventurous if you do it alone. The most exciting part of this cave is its exit point where you should climb out from the tiny hole in the top. It is also believed that only those who have not committed sins in their lives are considered to pass through the narrow opening.

The cave is located just ten minutes away from another famous cave in Pokhara i.e. Mahendra cave, which have its own significances. The best thing to do in Bat cave is getting outside from the cave and thrilling inside and you are doing this under the earth where it is dead dark and you only have lamp to see things which seems to be very heroic.
