The trek is composed of lots of offerings and takes you with scenic beauties and magnificent mountains views.
Ganesh Himal Base Camp trekking offers you an adventurous journey into the untouched isolated region presenting outstanding views and exploration of local people’s culture and traditions. This awesome trek can be started from Syabru Basi (1,503 meters), which is about 8 hours of drive from Kathmandu valley. From Syabru Besi, the trail leads through the way towards Gatlang (2,337 meters), Somdang (3,271 meters), Pangsang Pass (3,842 meters), Shertung (1,875 meters), Hindung (2,220 meters), Rajgang Kharka, Kalo Seto Kunda and finally to Ganesh Himal Base Camp. From the main destination, the trek further follows the way towards Rajgang Kharka, Chalise (2,000 meters), Jharlang, Dharka, Khahare Bazaar and finally towards Kathmandu valley via private vehicle or bus. The trail takes you all the way through the emerald hills, Tamang villages, beautiful Terraces, natural hot water stream, deep Gorges, glaciers, with forests of blue pine, Spanish oak, and blossoming Rhododendron forest.
However, trekking in Ganesh Himal Base Camp provides you the real adventure of trekking in a remote area of Nepal where beautiful valleys meet snowcapped mountains smiling back at you. You will be trekking through beautiful meadows and untouched coniferous forests and exploring the local ethnic people about their way of living and beliefs. There is not such a moment that will make you sad throughout the journey as you are presented with awesome sceneries and views back to back. Camping provides you the real adventure or excitement of trekking. The best season for trekking in Ganesh Himal is February to May and August to December.
