Siraichuli Hill Chitwan

Siraichuli, standing at the top of Kaule VDC situated at the height of 1,945 meters from sea level, is the highest hill of Chitwan district of Central Nepal. The Summit of the hill offers gorgeous Sunrise and Sunset views along with spectacular view of Himalayas. Siraichuli trekking is most famous trek to make in Chitwan as it is located in Mahabharat range of central Nepal and features broad leafed deciduous forest and Rhododendron forest on the trekking trail. Bird watching is one of the attractions to this place because this area is the habitat of about 238 species of birds adding color to the nature. Siraichuli trek will lead you experience off the beaten and natural trail as the trail rises from the Trisuli valley to the Siraichuli hill and finally down to the lush lowland of Chitwan valley.

Mainly there are two entrances for this beautiful trek i.e. Hugdi (located in between Mugling and Krishna Veer) and Shaktikhor (south from Sauraha, Chitwan). This awesome trek offers various natural sceneries along with adventure and opportunity to experience Chepang and other ethnic group’s culture and traditions. The trail passes through beautiful jungle and mesmerizing views over there, also providing a great chance to encounter some rare and endemic bird including Spiny Babbler, which can be seen and heard here. Apart from birds, many butterflies can be seen with beautiful flowering and non-flowering plants and trees. The summit of the hill also has a viewpoint from where magnificent views of mountains such as Gausankhar, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, Rolwaling and Manaslu and the Terai belt of southern region can be observed.
