The peak forms a multi-summited ridge at the eastern end of the Lumding Himal, which seems to be very attractive and gazing for its viewers. As Kongde Peak stands proudly at the south-west side of Namche Bazaar above the Bhote Koshi and sometimes is considered as Rolwaling Himal. Surrounded by impressive falling-over like glaciers of Khartang, Number, and Karyolong, the peak stands at the high remote valley in Khumbu Region.
