After the devastating earthquake it was wonderful to see Nepali structures that survived. We were so impressed with the joint venture between Nepal, Japan, and the United States in an heroic effort the rebuild the ancient structures to their original glory.
Loved this temple!! Had guide with me explained in great detail about which I would recommend.Very colourful and covered in prayer flags. My first visit there even though been in Kathmandu 3 times well worth a visit.

The “monkey temple wheather at day break, it’s an joy. The military recruits running up the mountain of stairs at 4:30 am. while we turn the prayer wheels, being the first to visit the small shops within the temple walls, followed by the masala tea and breakfast sandwich at the roof top cafe. It was such a delight we went back at sunset and returned again before leaving Nepal. It’s a must visit places in Nepal
