Taudaha Lake Kathmandu

Taudaha Lake is a marvelous place to traverse in Kathmandu Valley. It is located in Kirtipur municipality of Kathmandu. Taudaha is believed to be created when Manjushree, a Buddhist Mythical character cut the hill in the valley’s south and formed few small lakes, of which Taudaha is one. The name came into existence with a blend of Newari words ‘Ta’ and ‘Daha’ having meaning Snakes and Lakes respectively.

Taudaha is a peaceful place favorable for relaxation. The view of it’s surrounding is mind-blowing. Taudaha Lake is 12.6 km away from Tribhuvan International Airport, 37 minutes of a scenic ride will fade away your tiredness.
